West Bengal Elections 2021: Eighth and last phase of polling today - all you meed to know

 


Kolkata: West Bengal is all set to face the ballot for one last time during the ongoing Assembly elections on Thursday. In the final and eighth phase of Assembly elections, 35 Assembly constituencies across four districts will go to the polls. While six of the constituencies are in Malda, seven are in Kolkata and 11 in Birbhum.

According to the data shared by the Election Commission of India (ECI), 84.77 lakh voters will be casting their votes at 11,860 polling stations and sealing the fates of 283 candidates in the EVMs. Of these 283 candidates, 35 are women candidates.
